Question 1: Is your idle relatively steady, or is the engine speed surging with repeated small to moderate revs? Question 2: Just to get this straight, when the vehicle is cold, it idles, but lower than 750± RPMs? But then when it warms up, it dies unless you keep your foot on the gas pedal? Or do you constantly have to hold your foot on the gas pedal? Question 3: Does the engine rev up normally, or does it hesitate or sputter at all? In other words, if you press on the gas pedal, does it go "vvvvrrrroooOOOOMMMM!!!", or does it make a sound like "bbbrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRVVVVOOOOMMMM!!!"? -Robert vin 6585 "X" --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, mike clemens <rmclemns@...> wrote: > > Again, I'm scratching my head. Two weeks ago, we took Josh's car out for a spin. It ran perfectly for about 8-9 miles. After we got back, we shut it down and checked everything over for any problems. After about a half hour, tried to start it up, and NO GO. <SNIP> ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
