For the louvers the best is to paint them with Plasti-kote bumper black. For the smaller stuff like mirrors, etc. I use some stuff called Forever Black that I found at AutoSport (autosportcatalog.com). The paint has been on over 10 years so far, the Forever Black has been on a couple of years - it all still looks good to me.
