There's a difference between running as low as possible on fuel all the time, and wanting to use the full capacity of the tank. to other posts saying "you should have filled up before then" - why write off some of the tank's caacity by using an inferior baffle? In other words, I reckon binning the stock baffle loses you maybe 50 miles' range on a tank.
