Farrar - This is typically caused by a weak circuit breaker for the
A/C fan motor. The circuit breaker is located right next to the
circuit breaker for the radiator fans. The popular fix for this
condition is to change the circuit breaker out to a larger capacity
(35 or 40 amps) unit. Does this intermittent operation only happen
on speeds 3 and 4 (normally the case)? If so, then you should also
consider replacing or evaluating the relays for those fan speeds.
Fan speeds 1 and 2 are "directly driven" without relays.
