When in doubt, taking photos as you go helps things go back together,
but that advice won't help now. Instead, remember that you still have a
fully assembled door over on the other side to use as reference. If you
crack that one open though, take photos and label the screws carefully.

thank you all for your responses to my question, finally got the
broken motor and regulator out. the cable was actually pushed
outside the metal sheath, and the motor won't do anything, so I'm
going to replace them. hope I remember how the door goes together.
thanks again everyone! the inside was sharp, the tape helped, good
tip.
