John, I'm not having any issues with the D110 alternator you repaired
for me. 

The thread is regarding the device on the side of the auto
transmission that generates an AC current for the transmission
computer modulator. I was calling it an "alternator" since it
generates AC current but not the vehicle alternator itself.
