You can remove the rear sunshade and then you do not need the jig. The Workshop Manual has the door and torsion bar removal procedures. Be very careful with the torsion bar, it stores a LOT of energy! Do not scratch or nick it's surface. You are going to have a lot of *fun* trying to line up the new door. It is one of the most difficult things to do correctly on a Delorean. I would remove the Tee roof also. You really have to anyway to get to the plugs for the wiring harness. Be careful of the sharp edges of the S/S. That door is very heavy so have assistants to help. Mark positions and count shims. Block the door open from the lower sill to the bottom of the open door, DO NOT do it from the ground. If the car moves the block will come out and the door will fall! Cover the parts of the car you are working around with towels to prevent scratches.
