Be nice.... There are plenty of Eurospec PRV's running around without CIS. In 1985 Volvo even recommended F series owners use the brass balance screws in conjunction with CIS: http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/gA1nRybUqiLpnCViAKbGenaKs8keHXhZxo0vs1UyxguFzPaHzV6fODHLH8DHVimovLIgU4USBm9YpqCqyIc4oG81ERJZZMQ90Kk/Other%20PRV%20Literature/Volvo_Idle_Modification.jpg (I know that URL is probably too long to fit on a single line, but that's what the Yahoo website comes up with -- it's in the Files section under "Other PRV Literature" if you want to check it out). PRV's that idle off the Balance screws usually have an aux air valve to yield fast idle. When I was K-Jet I added a solenoid operated one to kick up not only the cold idle but A/C load as well. Worked like a charm. Still have it if anyone wants it (came off a BMW of some ilk). I've also got a proper B-27 aux air valve that uses ambient engine temperature. This all is of course a moot point for me now. I will never go back to K-Jet, CIS, Lambda, etc. In fact, my little silver car gives me so little to do now (other than the occasional speedometer cable malfunction) that I had to buy an old school bus to keep myself busy. Pics are uploaded to #5939's photo album. Note the Motorcraft carb, Pertronix 40,000 volt coil, and 8.5mm MSD plug wires. Shame on me....
