Yes,
It will wear more than regular friction material but that is why it is a
power clutch disk material. It grabs on the flywheel side and with regular
friction material on other it will slip if need be. If you want to grab the
fly wheel then you don't ride the clutch.
Give me a digital and dimensions and I think they can build any kind of
clutch disk you want.

Won't this be really wearing on the flywheel? I'd be interested if the
special material is on the pressure plate side - I need a new clutch
for my Venturi, which is capable of pushing over 350ft-lbs, and the
original Renault clutch is $$$!
