Travis,
Sometimes we don't have a choice as to what we put in the tank. But before
you put anything in there like cleaners if you will get an O Ring, measure
it and soak it over night in a solution of 1 part chemical and 10 parts gas
then you would be able to tell if it's going to hurt the nitrile O rings in
the distributor and the rest of the fuel system. You would be able to see or
measure the swell affect. Soaking it at full strength wouldn't be fair to
the o ring and most chemicals are 1 pint to 20+ gallons. Berrymans B12 is
what you really have to watch out for.

Subject: [DML] Using Ethanol-blended fuel
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the problem with using E-85 (or any
highly Ethanol-based fuel blend) is that it will destroy the rubber
bits in the DeLorean's fuel system. If that is indeed the case and
since more and more Ethanol in the fuels that we buy, what fuel
system components in the DeLorean would need to be upgraded in order
to make it Ethanol-proof or at least fairly resistant?
