I don't know about the boot but a new SS shifter plate from DMOCO runs in at
$186.00
(HYPERLINK
"http://www.dmoco.com/products.html"http://www.dmoco.com/products.html)
It comes with a new rubber boot and does away with the leather top also.
I have one fitted and after a bit of adjustment in the linkage it is like a
dream now for gear changing.
I know its not original but it looks so well in place that unless you know
its not original it does not look out of place.

Subject: [DML] Rubber Shift Boot
My rubber under boot (manual trans) developed a hole in it at some
point long before I bought the car. I have looked at the on-line
supply house parts manuals but have been unable to find the part
number. I have found the leather cover boot that goes for about $89
(which I will also need to replace at some point) but have not found
the rubber under boot.
Any help is appreciated?
