Way back when I owned 6530, Dave, I had a very similar experience. 'Twas on the 4th of July, and yes, it does get hot on July 4th even here in the mountains. Anyway, the wife and I went for a little cruise. Car ran beautifully. Stopped for an ice cream cone and when we went to start the car, it just wouldn't start. I tried everything I could think of and still no luck. Finally called a tow truck. Just as the tow truck was pulling up, I hit the starter one more time and - - - - vroom, vroom, she fired as if there had never been anything wrong. It was not what I thought was the typical hot start problem. Instead, the old impulse coil problem had reared it's ugly head. I replaced the impulse coil and never had that problem again. Is it possible that the "new" coil I installed in 1994 has gone bad????
