I must admit I do not know where the parking break is physically located.
Over time I have picked up that the parking break does not use the pads on
the wheel though.
The noise is definitely coming from the driver's side rear caliper.

Hi Ed,
Is it the actual brake caliper or the parking brake which is causing it to
drag?

Subject: [DML] Rear break dragging
Driver's side rear brake is dragging a bit. I have almost zero knowledge of
brakes and the manual did not help me at all. Any details on how to fix
this?
