Actually, for my installation which included 13" rotors in the front (up from 10") and 12.25" in the rear (up from 10.5") and four-piston calipers all the way around, the Saab unit worked better for me because it had no internal proportioning. I ran an external adjustable proportioning valve and it kept the math a little simpler. : )
So for a stock D, I'd say keep the stock MC. For anything requiring custom/adjustable proportioning, go with the Saab unit.

Question is why would anybody want the Saab M/C when we know it is
wrong, the correct M/C is now available, and we know the braking is
severely effected with the Saab M/C?
