I think Harold posted the pressure. I'm sure they are correct knowing him.
But I have still found in my experience that let the gauges tell you what's
going on. Be sure you turn the air on max, ac blower motor on max and the
radiator fans on also. Then raise the idle and trust the gauges.

I live in Fargo, ND.  The elevation is 900 feet.  Do you have any  tips on 
what pressures are appropriate at a given ambient temperature?  I  was going
to 
buy a set of gauges since my Lexus has given me A/C problems in the  past,
too.
