If you want to keep the origional boards there are a couple of things you can do. Scotch-Brite can be used to clean up the copper traces and rivets. You can use very small screws and nuts inside the rivets to tighten them up. You can solder the rivets to the traces. Reshape the bulb sockets so the bulbs fit better. Clean the springs that touch the center, bottom of the bulbs. Clean the bases of the bulbs with scothc-brite. This can do a lot. The ultimate is to replace the boards. The vendors have a much better made replacement, the ONLY downside is the expense. As I understand it the only part on the car made from ERM is the rear license plate frame..
