Marc's right. The private emails should be "opt-in" only. As for the new product notice on the DML, I like it. I don't scan every page of every vendor's site every day so I appreciate the heads-up that a new product is available. For me this is far more valuable than the detailed chronology of transmission spline counts.

Agreed.. They seem to be harvesting the DML for their
own private e-mail list. I too received a private
e-mail, and the copy that went to the DML.
I am glad we have a new vendor working on building new
and improved parts, but agree the "spam" is not
starting off on the right foot.
Vendors having their own mailing list is a great
thing, but it should be an "opt-in" system.
