The struts usually run about $40 a piece for the doors. They are really
not difficult to put on at all. Properly adjusted doors with new struts
should not sag.although I guess it could happen a bit if it is really really
cold. Perhaps the struts were NOS that have been laying around for a long
time. I've bought struts in the past from two of the main vendors and had
no problems.

The DMC we just bought had door struts that didn't work, doors closed
completely. The car was at a Ford dealer who worked on it previously.
He replaced the struts and we were quoted $200 for door/trunk struts +
labor. They delivered the car the other day and the new struts are on.
But the driver door sages 25% and the passenger door sags 50%. We were
also charged $300 for the install for some bs reason they gave us
after the fact. Is sagging normal or were we ripped off?
