Don't bother worrying, because it propbably will. It already happened
to me at work today.

Idiot Coworker: "Hey, Robert! I you know a serial killer!"
Me: "Wha? What are you talking about?"
IC: "Yeah, that uh, Jon Benet killer guy. He owned a DeLorean too!"
Me: (dumbfounded look on my face) "Dude, I don't know the guy. And
what the hell does that have to do with me knowing him"?
IC: "Well, you've probably talked to him on the internet before. Hell,
you probably even helped him fix his car!"
Me: "Dude, he owned his car YEARS ago, I don't know the guy, and I
don't care to. So what does that have to do with me? Do you know every
moron on the road out there who drives a car like you too?"

I was not happy about this at all. My mother called me up too just a
few  minutes ago to tell me that Nancy Grace was talking about the car
on TV. Sure enough, they were making it a topic of discussion.

My mother also gave me a sobering warning too. She said that after
years of taking jokes about my flux capacitors "rebates", let's just
hope that instead of getting asked if we've all got a kilo of cocaine
in our cars, that people don't start asking if we've got dead little
girls in our trunks...

Let's all be ready for these future responses with our best behaviors,
and our sharpest wits. If ever we had a time to unify and come
together to present ourselves, and our cars in the best light
possible, this is that time!
