For what it's worth: Many insurance companies will add towing
insurance for a little bit of nothing. I'm not sure I even pay any
extra for it through State Farm, and I've never had to pay a
deductable for towing. They paid some $500 once to tow my vehicle out
of the mountains, in the middle of nowhere.
