Lesson to be learned here:
 
AAA membership:  $80 for the gold plan (100 miles of free towing)  worth its
weight in GOLD, and....they will tow any car so long as "you are the driver"
but nobody really cares about that.  I have used my card to tow many friends
and family.   Using it once per year pretty much pays for itself with a
single tow.   No hassles and people know what they are doing when you call.
