Make sure the belt is not slipping. Have the battery tested. Have the
alternator tested. You may have some loose/dirty electrical
connections. It can be any of these or a combination. If you have been
jumping the car you may have blown some of the diodes in the
alternator and now it is not putting out it's full rated output. If
the battery is chronically undercharged you may not be driving the car
enough to fully charge the battery.
