[DML] Re: adjustment nut on tranny......

The diagrams make it appear that you have to take the adjustment nut
off to replace the seals, but this is not actually the case. I
replaced my tranny seals and sleeved the flanges a little while back
(to keep my shop floor clean), and Dave Swingle provided the
valuable advice that the seals can be replaced without messing with
the adjustment nut.
It comes apart just fine with ability to replace the
seals without needing to mess with the nut. I presume you're talking
about the weeping around the flange and not some other seal
(hopefully I didn't misunderstand). If you replace the seals you
might as well also sleeve the flange since you have the flange out
anyway.
