You may be in need of new door seals. If the old ones are cracked,
split, torn, or just flattened, they are shot. After replacing the
seals you *may* need to adjust the anchoring pins. After that you
might have to add a piece of vacuum tubing to the switch posts to make
them a bit longer. Having the doors loose is more than the lights
flashing on and off. While that may be annoying you also have a lot of
outside air leaking into the car and a lot of noise. A real fast and
cheap test. Close the door on a Dollar bill. If it slips out without
drag the seals aren't sealing.
