There are 2 reasons (if everything is working properly) that the brake
light indicator in the dash will light up. One is if the parking brake
is on and the other is if the fluid is low in the master cylinder
resovoir. Check the level of the brake fluid. If it is really low you
may be leaking it out, not a good thing. It should also not be very
dark looking. If it is very dark it is old and should be flushed out.
Same for the clutch. Remember, these systems are supposed to be
flushed out EVERY 2 YEARS! Use Castrol GTLMA.
