[DML] Anomalous brake light

I just recently began having my parking brake light come on
intermittently flickering. It started when I went over some bumpy
railroad tracks. It tends to flicker when I hit bumps in the road. I
am pretty sure it is not the switch or the handle. Any thoughts to the
most likely cause? and, Does the light come on when that circuit
becomes open or closed?
