My response was in reply to a suggestion regarding adapting a speedometer
from another car, a BMW in this case, to the DeLorean. Late model cars that
have electronically driven speedometers have digital odometers that are
tamper proof.and therefore record independant of the speedometer.Your
digital dash is after market and so this apparently doesn't apply to your
odometer.
