Hahaha, I'm sorry, I must have misread this. It sounded like you were thinking of drilling into the frame of the car to add a cup holder. :) </sarcasm> I have the clip-on cup holder and so far, it's the best solution. I don't like that it hangs off the console, but it totally works... and looks almost stock. I'd thought a while ago (before the clip on cup holder came out) about replacing the ashtray area with cup holders. After taking the console off, I realized that there's simply no room there.
