I have not seen an acceptable installation of a cruise control yet. I have a brand new unit still in the box and haven't installed it yet because of the way the throttle cable spool is set. The way the cruise control module pulls the throttle spool makes the throttle cabel go slack and may fall off the spool locking the throttle in wide open position. Unless you can find a way to have the cruise control module pull directly on the throttle cable, like from the passenger compartment, I would NOT suggest you install it.
