Re: door strut mount bending?!



It has been proven that a certain strut that was supplied by some 
venders in the past caused the mounts to bend on some cars because it 
was too long when the door closed. If the anchor for your strut is 
bending it is not a good thing. Some of the venders sell a 
reenforcement bracket that you can install. Make sure then strut is 
not overstressing the mounts when the door is closed, if so replace 
it.
