Thanks for the advice - I appreciate it. The tyres are the correct 
Goodyear NCT 195s in pretty good condition - think it must be the 
shocks. I've replaced the washer motor but can't find the route of 
the tubing from the motor to the wiper - mine seems to be missing. I 
don't know where to put the replacement tube as I cant see anything 
behind the dashboard.
