After I removed the cable (that goes to the instrument cluster), I used a 1 1/4 box end wrench to loosen the large nut on the back side of the spindle. To remove the angle drive without damaging it, I had to rotate it into a position that would allow it to pass in-between two of the spring coils. It was actually much easier of a job than I had expected. Installation is the reverse - just make sure that you torque the angle drive nut back properly. That is pretty much it! Sean Howley VIN#2345
