A Local DeLorean, Vin #004260

I found a DeLorean for sale here in California and need some advice. Does anyone on this list have any information about 
VIN #004260? It's a 1981 model with grey interior. I tried looking it up in the VIN history on delorean.com with no luck.

Anyway it looks to be in excellent condition. The front and rear facias might need some repainting and there are some
small rips in the headrests. The body is 100% perfect from what I can tell, and it only has 20,000 miles. But I am aware 
that low mileage can be a bad thing if the car was not stored properly.

I will go for a test drive next time I see it, and maybe take it to a mechanic to check it over.

Anyone have advice?
