Hello,

Would you be able to tell me where to bridge what from where? I recently in my efforts remove the old jumper from the alt to the the solenoid and replace the 3 starnds with a one larger wire. Are you referring from the battery to the solenoid?

Shain, try bridging the POSITIVE cable, you have possibly a unique situation. Once in a
great while there is a poor connection between the cable and the cable end, can be either
cable. Jumper cable will work fine for the test.
