Check the roof T-panel. If the foam underneath it has deteriorated, there may be insufficient upward pressure
on the front flange of the roof where it engages above the windshield. There are no fasteners at this point,
so a slightly loose roof can definitely rattle in a way that is hard to localize. If this is the problem, just glue some new foam under the panel and it will go away.
