Your short circuit problem is located in your engine compartment light
fixture. If you inspect the fixture you will notice that there is a copper
strip assembly that is part of the lamp holder. A rubber insulator isolates
the contact at one end of the lamp holder. Over time the insulator will dry
rot and cause the two copper contacts to come into contact with each other
resulting in a short circuit. In some cases the insulator is completely
missing. Check to see if this is your problem.
It also appears that you have a problem with the adjustments of your door
switches. David responded with accurate trouble shooting information
concerning your battery drain problem.
