On my car, one of the door switches for the courtesy lights had dirty 
contacts. Even with the door closed all day, the switch would become 
VERY hot. While this didn't drain my battery, I imagine that 2 
switches doing this at the same time might just be able to blow a 
fuse. To clean I just removed the switch, and sanded the contacts 
with some really fine sandpaper.

While this may not nessisarily be the exact cause of your problem, it 
is something that you should look into.
