The normal operating temperature is between 196 F and 207 F.

While driving the car at highway speeds there is usually sufficient air flow through the radiator to allow proper cooling without the cooling fans. Once the fans turn on they should run continually (2-3 min) until the coolant temperature falls to 196 F.

I would suggest that you replace your cooling fan circuit breaker with the 40 amp upgrade. You might also consider installing the Engine Overheat Protector to eliminate overheating due to air bubbles in the coolant lines. Hi all

What is the average tempature should the DMC run at? When driving my car say
5 miles the fans will come on a few times with the outside temp about
50-60deg .The fans appear to cut in at 180deg. Another thing i have noticed
is normally the fan kick in for a very short time but the next time they
kick in they go on for a while. Just wondered if this normal or my car is
running hot?. I have replaced at the cooling hoses and have a metal rad.
