Yes that is a torsion bar. When removed from the mounts and the door 
hinges this is what it looks like. HOWEVER, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND 
AGAINST buying/bidding on this part. It is laying on gravel, since 
the person selling all of these parts doesn't seem to know much about 
the car, all bets are this person simply dropped this on the ground, 
thus scratching or gouging it. It would be very unsafe to put this 
back into the car and wind it up. Just somthing I thought I should 
add.
