Measure voltage drop across every connection till you find the one that is causing your problem. The battery could be the problem, I have seen fully charged batteries that as soon as you put a load on them it is like a connection inside the battery is broken. Load test the battery or just try jumping the car with another while you try to start it.Or just try another battery. There is nothing special about troubleshooting this problem in the electrical system in the Delorean as opposed to any other automobile. Don't get thrown off by the unusual locations of the components, it still works like any other car. I wouldn't touch the inhibit relay till you can keep the power up in the car. If the inhibit relay was the source of the problem it would have no effect on the gauges, courtesy lights, or buzzer.
