Just pull the #12 fuse or buy a BatterySaver from DMC Joe, this also disconnects the lights in the engine compartment, glovebox, domelights and the trunk. The Batterysaver is plug-and-play... I wired up a switch and in-line fuseholder myself so it plugs into the fusebox; works like a charm, only downside is that I get a "phantom-light" on the dash when I forget to put it on when driving AND I get false triggers on my alarmsystem. That last one is being worked out at the moment...
