RE: [DML] Best place to get a starter?

Unless your starter casing is destroyed, have it rebuilt at a local
automotive electric shop. I had mine rebuilt in Bellevue, Wa it was only
$85.00.

Subject: [DML] Best place to get a starter?

Hi, I need an entire starter mechanism now (minus the solenoid) for my 81
D. I thought only the solenoid was blown, but low and behold I was wrong :)
Where is the least expensive place to pick one up at? Will another car's
starter work?
Thanks,
