Hello list, The outside of my DeLorean is starting to come back together. I just need a rear window and the outside is pretty much done(still needs paint). I retorqued my torsion bars because the doors had to be removed. I put brand new pj grady struts on them when it was in the mid 40's(they still went too fast then too but I was tired and left them). now that it is hot outside they open to fast and bounce hard at the top(2-3 hard bounces). before I put a rear window in I want to get the torsion bars taken car of first. It makes the car look bad when the doors bounce so hard at the top. how many splines should I move it down? I know it is very touchy so would 1 or 2 notches to the trick? if anyone has had experience please let me know. I just watched back to the future to see how those doors should roughly open. In part II the doors seem to work much better than they do in part I. but my doors go way faster than thoughs. I know this isnt the best comparison but the DeLorean owner that comes to my house has bad struts so I dont really know. I am also looking for a used rear window if anyone has one. I am also working on a web-page so people can see what my DeLorean has acheived. Thank you all, Dave #2496-
