Re: [DML] Oil pressure guage

This is a common problem in most DeLoreans and is caused by an incapability
between the oil pressure sender and the oil pressure gauge. The PRV engine
oil system is trouble free which makes the gauge more practical for
appearance than function. In the rare event of a loss of oil pressure the
oil pressure warning light is always there to warn you of a low oil pressure
condition.

Some owners have replaced the OEM sender with a Volvo version to reduce
gauge fluctuation.
