[DML] Re: Lowering (and speeding in Toronto)



Here is a quick rundown of how I always thought it happened:

Lotus designed the suspension, but due to a change in the US "safety
requirements", the headlights were too low on the car. So, the quickest
way to bring the headlights in to spec was to raise the whole car. 

Again, best to my knowledge, the entire car was raised, and only the
springs were changed.

issues.
