[DML] Spring Project ??'s...

Hello list, I wanted to start getting my D ready for the summer, and I need some advice on a few subjects:

1) I am replacing the door struts( I'm just ordering them from DMC Houston) Is that the best place to get them?? Also What is the installation like? What is involved in it, is it time consuming?? How would I go about installing them?

2) My seats are starting to show some wear (suprisingly it the only part of the interior that shows any wear). I was wondering if there's any kind of seat covers that fit a D?? If so, where would I get them. I don't really care what they are made out of, I just want them the be a snug fit, and be close in color to the grey interior.

3) My speedometer stoped working over the winter, and I was wanting to replace it with a 140 MPH speedo. Where would I get a 140 MPH speedo? And if I don't end up getting a new one, does anyone know why it would stop working. I was driving and it just droped to 0 for no apparent reason...

4) And Finallly... My tires are getting pretty bald. I checked some of the archives, and I saw a couple different tire sizes. What are the CORRECT tire sizes ?? Also, would I just go to Sears or any automotive store and get them?(i'm not looking for 'top-of-the-line' tires, just some normal ones). If not, how would I go about finding new tires.

I want to thank people in advance for helping me out with these questions. I really appreciate it. I just want to get my D as good as new for the summer. You can email me direct at orentha@xxxx or just reply to this post, doesn't matter to me.

THANKS AGAIN,
James Teston
