[DML] Re: Exhaust Gasket and Air Inlet

Dave,

It is not necessary to remove the engine to replace the exhaust manifold
gaskets. Purchase the Exhaust Manifold Service Kit which includes all of the
items necessary to do a complete exhaust restoration job. Driving the car
with the heat stove duct disconnected will not have any adverse effects.

Be aware that the exhaust gasket replacement is not a shadetree project,
replacing broken studs and resurfacing the manifolds are part of a
successful job. Your local reliable import service facility should be able
to handle the job.
