As an auto owner, I can tell you, they are a bit less speedy than the 
manuals, and you're going to prolly have a problem with transmission computer 
if it hasn't bee changed yet, but other than that, there's not much of a 
diff. If you're talking about being smooth meaning the shifting, no, they're 
not rough at all. My 98 camaro shifts harder than the DMC does.
