[DML] Adapt DMC Model to Radio Control

The subjects of model DeLoreans and radio controlled DeLoreans come up
on the DML from time to time. For those who are interested in both,
allow me to point out the "Canned Heat" line from Tyco. This URL shows
a picture and description used by eToys, although they are available in
stores:

For $20 you get a full function R/C toy that is just a shade smaller
than a 1/24 scale DeLorean model (e.g. the BTTF models from Ertl). If
you extend the chassis a couple of millimeters and add whatever 1/24
DeLorean body you choose, you could create a DeLorean toy that is highly
detailed yet drivable.

The Canned Heat cars already have detailed high impact styrene bodies
much like models (not the flexible PVC bodies of bigger R/C cars). They
are small, light, and not too fast, so they can be driven indoors
without damaging their bodies or your furniture.

I might try this myself. Does anyone know if the BTTF-to-stock adapter
kits are still available anywhere?
