After much dinking around with JC Whitney I've arrived at what is probably 
the most near perfect match to the original in color, thickness and 
appearance as one can get. I've got Whitney samples and will post the part 
number when I know what it is (can anyone believe sending samples with Lt 
Gray, Med Gray, Drk Gray as the only identifying criteria)? 

Total cost including shipping is about $40.
